I’m Alex Cramer, a Los Angeles based copy and content writer with over a decade of experience.
I began my writing career as an entertainment journalist covering Hollywood’s biggest events, including the Oscars, Emmys, Grammys and Golden Globes.
Through hard work, hustle and a little luck I became one of the most sought-after red carpet reporters in the industry and earned bylines in top-tier publications such as The Hollywood Reporter, People and New York Magazine.
But while writing about movie stars and awards shows was glamorous, it was also limiting and I decided to branch out into other forms of writing.
Not knowing precisely where to start in this new version of my career, I went everywhere.
I wrote personal finance pieces for Nerd Wallet, sales collateral and marketing content for advertising firms such as Advertise Purple and video scripts for culture websites such as Uproxx.
I learned how to adapt my voice to any style and the myriad number of ways that the written word can be used to connect with and grow an intended audience.
As I gained knowledge, skill and experience I was able to climb the copywriter ladder one rung at a time, until I found myself creating internal communication strategies for Fortune 500 companies and ghostwriting think pieces in Forbes for C-suite executives.
What I learned from working with dozens of clients, from tech startups to global corporations, is that every founder, CEO and executive has a vision for their company, but few have either the time or skill to articulate that vision into written content.
My specific value-add is that I know how to translate your mission, values and goals into concise, informative and entertaining content that will connect with your audience, build your brand and deliver on your goals.
